React Native and Expo cover Android and iOS from the same code, which roughly halves both the build and the maintenance. Where a specific feature genuinely needs it, that piece gets written natively instead of forced through a bridge that will break on the next OS release.
Built for connections that drop
Apps used in warehouses, basements, rural routes and moving vehicles cannot assume a signal. Everything is captured locally and synced when the connection returns, with conflict handling that does not silently lose the last hour of somebody work.
Getting it into the stores
Store listings, screenshots, review submissions and the rejections that follow are part of the job. The developer accounts stay in your name, so the apps remain yours if we stop working together.

Questions
Do we need separate Android and iOS budgets?
No. One codebase covers both, and the extra cost of adding the second platform is small compared to building it twice. Store fees are separate and go on your own accounts: 25 USD once for Google, 99 USD a year for Apple.
Can it work with our existing backend?
Yes. If you have an API, the app talks to it. If the API needs work first, that gets scoped as part of the project instead of discovered halfway through.
